As a Quality Specialist – Driving Dynamics, Powertrain, Driver Assistance at BMW Group Plant Debrecen, you will work with the latest vehicle technologies and electronic architectures, ensuring premium product quality through comprehensive vehicle testing, functional validation, and root cause analysis of complex electrical and electronic systems.

 

What awaits you? 

  • Electronics testing – Conduct functional testing (static and dynamic) of electric and electronic vehicle systems and components (ECUs), including both system-level and customer-facing functionalities, ensuring compliance with BMW quality standards.
  • Problem analysis and troubleshooting – Analyze product and process-related issues in both pre-series and series production using state-of-the-art diagnostic and logging tools, identifying root causes and supporting sustainable solutions.
  • Vehicle validation and software testing – Perform intensive vehicle testing activities to verify the quality, stability, and functionality of software releases throughout different project phases.
  • Technical consulting and support – Provide professional and technical guidance to internal and external stakeholders, supporting efficient issue resolution and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Cross-functional collaboration – Work closely with development teams, engineering departments, and BMW production plants worldwide to ensure fast and effective problem-solving and knowledge sharing.
  • Quality improvement activities – Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing methods, diagnostic processes, and quality assurance measures for electric and electronic vehicle systems.

 

What should you bring along?

  • Education – Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a similar technical discipline.
  • Work experience – Minimum 1 years of experience preferably within the automotive industry, focusing on development, testing, validation, or problem analysis of electric and electronic vehicle systems.
  • Work schedule – You are open to working flexible hours based on project and testing requirements.
  • Quality methods – Solid understanding of quality and problem-solving methodologies, including FMEA, Ishikawa, Risk Management, and related quality tools is beneficial
  • Analytical skills – Strong knowledge of analysis and diagnostic methods for complex electrical and electronic systems.
  • Language skills – Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken. Hungarian or German language knowledge is considered an advantage.
  • Driver’s licence – Valid Category B driving licence is required. Additional driver training or advanced driving qualifications are considered an advantage.
