At BMW Group - Financial Services Hellas, we are seeking a proactive and analytical Risk Specialist who will be responsible for internal and regulatory risk reporting, with a strong focus on Credit Risk, Operational Risk, and Business Continuity Management. The role actively supports initiatives that enhance company performance and operational efficiency through cross-functional collaboration and project involvement. Acting as the ICS Champion for Financial Services Hellas, the candidate will play a key role in strengthening the risk and control environment within a dynamic and fast-paced multinational organization. 

What awaits you?

• Act as the ICS Champion for Financial Services Hellas, coordinating the design, documentation, and maintenance of controls in line with BMW Group and regulatory requirements.
• Identify, monitor, and report operational, reputational, and credit risks, including analysis of KRIs, KPIs, risk scenarios, and loss events.
• Proactively propose and support risk mitigation measures and maintain high-quality risk reporting to local and central stakeholders.
• Support the Business Continuity Management framework, including BIAs, BCPs, testing, crisis simulations, and ongoing monitoring.
• Ensure timely and accurate management reporting on risk, control, and BCM topics.
• Participate in projects and ad-hoc initiatives to enhance efficiency, performance, and risk awareness.

 What should you bring along?

• University degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, IT, or a closely related field is required.
• Master’s degree in one of the above disciplines will be considered an advantage.
• Strong understanding of general risk management principles, methodologies, and tools, with practical application in financial environments.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in Risk Management, Credit Risk, Finance or a related function within an international organization.
• Knowledge of IFRS 9, with familiarity with IFRS 16 considered a strong asset.
• Proven experience in statistical modelling and quantitative analysis, including the use of Business Intelligence (BI) and AI tools.
• Data modelling experience is considered a plus.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas and data analysis.
• Fluency in Greek and English, both written and verbal. 
• Bring a digital mindset, with curiosity to explore innovative tools and AI-driven solutions.
