Accounting Team is responsible for financial accounting, tax, customs, treasury and Internal controls of BMW Korea.
What awaits you?
As a core Group Function reporting to the local Board of Management and Group Reporting & Taxes (FR), this role is responsible for overseeing all corporate affairs and ensuring the absolute accuracy of financial and non-financial statements. The successful candidate will lead tax and customs governance—including operational export control and risk management—while ensuring optimal liquidity and strict adherence to Group compliance policies and procedures.
▪ Responsible for the accuracy of accounts as Group Function (Balance sheet account) towards the local Board of Management
▪ Responsible for Treasury Account and Cashflow Planning
▪ Responsible for intercompany claim and management for central department
▪ Responsible for risk assessment and group reporting
▪ Responsible for OVHD(Marketing cost) accounting
▪ Manage the completeness of financial figure for treasury accounts
▪ Operate payment process as well as bank balance management
▪ Prepare internal control process of treasury function
▪ Monthly and Daily cashflow management and planning
▪ Maintain Rolls Royce sales system of WIT and process.
▪ Analyze and clarify the cashflow planning and risk management
▪ Analyze and clarify process improvement to enhance effectiveness of treasury process including relevant business process.
▪ Foreign Currency Transaction management and FX Risk management
▪ Group reporting of Treasury topic as well as intercompany loan execution
▪ Bank of Korea reporting of FX Transaction
▪ Report to Ministry of Economy and Finance Intercompany transaction reporting
▪ Bank and Payment system management and enhancement
What should you bring along?
▪ Competence to draw final decisions regarding finance, accounting issues, and processes towards all relevant local functions
▪ Competence to take final decisions regarding tax (incl. wage tax) and customs compliance, processes, and risk management towards all relevant local functions*
▪ Competence to approve or veto projects and transactions from a local tax and customs perspective*
▪ Competence to negotiate with local authorities and supervising bodies in tax and customs (incl. operational export control*) matters
