What awaits you?

• Primary focus on the Problem-Solving Efficiency in the Assembly area, managing communications to all supporting areas and acting as a regular interface between cost-benefit for solution implementation.
• Participate in new IT projects within the Assembly Shop.
• Development, implementation and continuous improvement of relevant IT-systems (Ex. SAP).
• Recognizes potential in digitization processes for preventive quality assurance.
• Representing Assembly on BMW cost efficiency forums, communicate and adopt LeLe (Lessons Learned) from another Group’s Plants and actively interact with the BMW Network.
• Ensure the non-conformant material process in the Assembly working closely with the parties involved.
• Continuously adjust the processes and standards based on internal/external sensors information.
• Support inter-departmental and cross-functional process partners for customer protection action implementation. 
• In quality problem analysis and escalations, the Quality Methods Senior Specialist should validate activities, suggest controls implementations and support with robust controls focused on preventing reoccurrence of defects.

What should you bring along?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or any related field.
• + 3 years of experience in automotive industry.
• + 3 of experience in Quality department.
• Solid BMW quality system skills (desirable).
• Experienced in Problem solving process and PDCA, DMAIC and 8D’s.
• Experience in Six Sigma, Red X, Shainin, DOE, Lean Manufacturing, TQM and EFQM.
• Fluent business English.
