What awaits you?

 

  • Work environment – you will be working at the Communication Center located within the BMW Group Plant Debrecen, in a modern, digitalized, open office-style environment, together with other office employees and your direct teammates. The Communication Center is a state-of-the-art office space equipped with kitchenettes, coffee stations, and ergonomic workstations, and also includes a company cafeteria.
  • Team – as a member of our Container Management Specialist Team you’ll be working in an international environment. Locally the team consists of around 3 people, but you will be a member of the bigger logistics organization of Plant Debrecen.
  •  International collaboration – you are a part of an internationally operating team and work closely with different organizational units within the BMW Group.
  •  Handling supplier requests – you manage questions and issues related to supplier containers to ensure a smooth and uninterrupted material supply.
  •  Managing container accounts – you handle container accounts for a defined group of suppliers and perform regular monthly reconciliations.
  • Analyzing discrepancies – you identify the root causes of accounting or inventory discrepancies and work together with partners to develop long-term solutions.
  • Coordinating the annual container inventory – you organize and coordinate the annual container inventory together with the relevant partners.
  • Process development – you will contribute to the improvement and optimization of container management processes, such as container inventory management or pool management.


    What should you bring along?

 

  • Education – you hold a degree in business administration, business informatics, or a related field, or you have several years of experience in logistics.
  • Professional understanding – you have a good overview of supply chain processes and are able to understand and interpret their interdependencies.
  •  IT skills – you confidently use MS Office applications, especially Excel.
  •  Analytical mindset – you are comfortable analyzing data and processes and identifying the root causes of problems.
  •  Communication and teamwork – you collaborate effectively with different departments and partners.
  • Working style – you work in a structured, independent, and responsible manner.
  •  Language skills and driving license – you have a confident command of English; Hungarian and German are considered an advantage. A valid category B driving license is required.
