Delivery Assurance Intern (Fall 2026)

Assignment Purpose/Scope:
- Support onsite supplier logistics production to ensure the supplier’s lineside delivery performance in series.
- Use efficient problem-solving processes to maintain performance.
- Support supplier requalification by assisting with project management tasks including KPI reporting, status reports, 8D, and FMEA.
- Analyze data from 8D and FMEA to develop concrete solutions for wrong delivery prevention.
- Assist in the development of i-Learn classes and track training completion for the LQS competency concept.
- Conduct KPI reporting by processing data in SAP, SQL, and Power BI, including running weekly and daily reports, data mining, and creating/maintaining visualization tools.
- Support supplier communication development.
- Maintain the electronic team board as a key user.
Assignment Projects:
- Rack Cleanliness Project: Audit rack cleanliness weekly through GEMBA walks in Hall 50 and Hall 52; document non-conformance for supplier charging.
- Zero Defect Supply Chain Project: Support project management tasks including KPI reporting, status reports, 8D, and FMEA.
- Standardize daily LQS activities related to supplier communication of issues, LOP management, and system updates.

- Ideally completed or be an upperclassman by credit hours in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or a related field with a preferred GPA of 3.4 or above.
- Strong interpersonal and technical skills.
- Experience with Power BI, SQL, Data Lake, or similar tools is a bonus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (experience with VLOOKUP, Macros, etc. preferred).
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Effective communication skills.
- Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).
- Enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
- Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
- Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours/week).
- Transfer students must have a GPA from their current university.
- MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT.
- Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
- Work term dates are August 10th - December 11th, 2026.
