What awaits you?

• Responsible for the technical planning of innovation and digitalization, driving Digitalization projects and maintain process and state-of-art automation for controls equipment.
• The selected candidate will independently drive him/herself during project management; from the early concept, design until series production of ideas in an industrialized manner: responsible for the right operability and improvements in industrialized topics that involve cameras, artificial intelligence, IoT devices, RTLS devices, RFID, Scanners, support Patching devices and patching of servers.
• Responsible to enable patching process, creating proper workflows for testing new ideas, interacting with FG support teams for VM0 Apps, Planning and executing line balancing in systems end devices. Support troubleshooting L3 level.
• Management and steering of controls technologies: Firmware / Hardware updates, changes in programs/logic, network configurations, digitalization and innovation mindset, production equipment troubleshooting, new equipment commissioning, standardization on regards digitalization/innovation topics.
• Responsible for the third-level trouble shooting and technical support to achieve the agreed targets at the plant/technologies.
• Responsible for all delegated topics related to technological and budget planning.
• Support to production including 2nd and 3rd shift or weekends when requested.
• Take responsibility in the organization to analyze the equipment downtime and faults to initiate/improve preventive maintenance activities/projects.
• Participate as technical trainer for maintenance staff.

What should you bring along?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering or any related field.
• 5 years of experience in automation & control theory and Mechatronics incl. robots, vision systems, safety equipment/regulations, Siemens PLC, SCADA systems.
• Experience in Artificial Intelligence projects, Machine Learning and Data analytics.
• Cloud Computing Services (AWS, MS Azure, or others).
• Networks and Field Bus preferably ProfiNet / TCP IP protocols.      
• Teamwork, leadership, good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Long and short-term project management experience (continuous improvement, process analysis).
• Fluent business English.
