We are offering an interesting and challenging job in the BMW plant Debrecen in the Sealing and Wax area of the Paint Shop. The essence of your responsibility will be to make sure that the processes are smooth and effective according to the BMW standards.
What awaits you?
- Work environment – You will work in a highly automated sealing and wax area in the Paint Shop, equipped with robots that the team sets up, operates and maintains to ensure the required quality and quantity.
- Team – As a member of our team, you will work in a multicultural environment with around 50 colleagues. You closely collaborate quality specialists, maintenance, logistics, the production area leader, team leaders, technicians and assocites in the Paint Shop to optimize manufacturing processes and ensure product quality.
- Process optimization – You optimize production processes with a focus on quality, equipment availability and production costs.
- Continuous improvement – You coordinate and support continuous improvement projects with a focus on quality and equipment availability, including the development of new methods in the Paint Shop.
- Autonomous improvement activities – You autonomously identify improvement potentials in your area and initiate the necessary actions.
- Lean production – You develop and further enhance a Lean production system in the Paint Shop.
- KPI tracking – You independently track relevant Key Performance Indicators and initiate suitable containment and corrective actions in order to get back to target level when needed.
What should you bring along?
- Educational background – Engineering degree with focus on mechanical, electrical or automotive engineering, engineering management, production, or an equivalent qualification.
- Work experience – Experience in quality methods, process improvement and Lean management positions in the industry, preferably in automotive production, planning or maintenance.
- Team and communication – Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a flair for dealing with people and mediating in conflict situations.
- Mindset – Self-initiative attitude and pronounced quality awareness.
- Language skills – English and Hungarian knowledge in both written and verbal; German is an advantage.
