Adv. Specialist, Technical planning, Engine Assembly
Responsible for technical planning, procurement, installation, and commissioning of engine assembly production processes, equipment, and related test systems, ensuring quality and compliance with BMW standards. Lead process improvements, risk assessments, and coordination with internal and external partners to deliver projects on time, within budget, and aligned with strategic objectives.
What awaits you?
- Lead technical planning, procurement, installation, and commissioning of engine assembly production processes, equipment, and related test systems (e.g., Hot Test).
- Evaluate new component production, equipment, and processes, serving as the screwing technology specialist for the plant.
- Implement quality assurance, documentation, and create bilingual work instructions (Thai/English) while ensuring compliance with BMW methods, standards, and local regulations.
- Drive process improvements, conduct risk assessments and FMEAs, and coordinate with internal and external partners and suppliers.
- Manage projects to meet deadlines, quality standards, budgets, and investments, applying BMW Group’s strategic objectives throughout.
What should you bring along?
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience in engine assembly equipment planning and commissioning.
- Advanced expertise in joining technology (screwing), automated sealing application equipment, test equipment management, and physical logistics.
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal) and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience working in international and intercultural teams with demonstrated leadership skills.
- Flexibility for work in Rayong and international business travel.
