This role is responsible for assessing BMW Group Canada’s retail performance relative to internal targets, key competitors and the overall automotive market. Based on this analysis, the Senior Specialist, Sales Strategy, is responsible for the development and costing of sales program proposals to ensure key KPIs are achieved. Additionally, this role is responsible for the execution and communication of sales programs to BMW Canada Retailers and stakeholders.

What awaits you?

  • Supporting the Manager, Sales Strategy, role in the execution of monthly National Sales programs.
  • Create and manage monthly market analysis to evaluate BMW Group’s position in the premium automotive market.
  • Identifies and evaluates trends in sales by analyzing internal and external industry data; micro and macro economic factors. Makes program recommendations based on findings.
  • Gathers and analyzes sales, inventory, customer data, and summarizes implications to support strategic sales program decisions.
  • Responsible for various ad-hoc analyses (using SQL, Tableau) regarding vehicle stock, incoming units, and brand competitiveness (BMW and MINI).
  • Leads communication of sales programs to BMW Group Canada Retailers.
  • Collaborates with various colleagues across the organization (BMW Financial Services, Marketing, Aftersales & Legal teams) to ensure a successful/accurate launch of the monthly sales programs.

What should you bring along?

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a focus in Business Administration.
  • 3-5 Years of experience in Sales
  • High degree of comfort with Microsoft Excel: V&H Look-Ups, Pivot Tables, If/And/Sum etc.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with Macros, Tableau, and database management are an asset but not mandatory.

Compensation

The compensation range for this role is $62,500 - $90,600, with variations based on factors like experience, education and skills. Experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.
