As a Launch and Change Control Specialist at BMW Group Plant Debrecen you're a crucial part of our vision to revolutionize the way we think about cars.

What awaits you?

  • Work environment – you work in a modern and well-equipped office environment at Plant Debrecen, with access to all tools and systems needed for efficient daily operations.
  • Team coordination– as a junior specialist, you coordinate cross-functional teams and projects, working closely with different departments to achieve production and project targets.
  • Team – as a member of our Launch and Change Control team you’ll be working in a multicultural environtment together with 15-20 people. In the team there are junior, medior and senior colleagues, as well, and they are splitted into smaller groups based on the focus points.
  • BOM and production data management – you are responsible for managing the vehicle bill of material (BOM) for daily production, including data setups, validations, engineering cross-checks, demand calculations, supplier steering, change management, and production-related information.
  • Project and change management – steering projects and coordinating overall activities, ensuring smooth implementation and alignment with timelines are also a part of your responsibilities.
  • Process development – you support the development of new structures and processes, contributing to solutions that help achieve plant and project objectives.
  • Systems and integration – you manage hardware and software updates, perform data checks and validations, and ensure proper system integration of components.
  • Validation and production support – you validate and confirm vehicle content, as well as schedule, track, and process pre-series vehicles.


What should you bring along? 
             

  • Educational background – you have a Bachelor’s degree (it would be an advantage if it’s in the field of Engineering or Supply Chain, or other relevant area).
  • Work experience – if you are experienced in the automotive industry and mass production that is considered an advantage.
  • Work schedule – you are willing to work on-site during regular business hours. Remote work may be considered based on alignment with your line manager.
  • Leadership and coordination – you coordinate teams and taking ownership of responsibilities.
  • Communication and teamwork – you have strong communication skills, team-oriented mindset, and willingness to learn.
  • Personality – you are self-confident and proactive.
  • Language skills – fluent English and Hungarian, both written and spoken; German would be an advantage.
