The new BMW Plant Debrecen the new all electric vehicle generation of BMW, the Neue Klasse. The plant will play an important role in the development of electric mobility and also be landmark in sustainable production. In your role as Project Specialist for the BMW Plant Debrecen with focus on Production System and Sustainability, you are actively involved in shaping the streategic concepts and activities of the plant and thus creating a coherent overall target picture for the entire plant.

What awaits you?

• Work environment - You work closely with all the technologies in the factory to ensure responsible management of the production system.
• Team – You join a team of up to 10 people who manage change across the entire factory. 
• Project Management - Yomanage sustainability "lighthouse" projects at the Debrecen plant, including the preparation of management templates & decision-making processes and monitoring the execustion phase.
• Lean approach - You represent and promote lean and sustainable mindset in the plant including the steering support of the local process excellence and sustainability circle.
• Proactivity - You actively support the work of the local Process Excellence and Sustainability team by initiating new ideas and seeking improvement opportunities.
• Monitoring performance indicators - Yo manage strategic processes and ensure that process excellence and sustainability indicators and targets are met.

What should you bring along?

• Education - You have a degree in engineering, industrial engineering, environmental economics, economics or a similar relevant tertiary qualification.
• Work experience - You have several years of experience in managing complex projects, including digitalisation projects. Your experience in leading projects in a manufacturing environment is relevant to us.
• Lean knowledge - You are committed to continuous improvement of production systems, sustainability and innovative, open-minded thinking.
• Working hours - Work will be on-site in normal office working hours, telecommuting is possible by arrangement with the line manager.
• Language and communication skills - you communicate confidently in Hungarian and English, both orally and in writing; German would be an advantage. You communicate clearly and convincingly. You like to work with other areas and build relationships easily.
