ACCELERATION PROGRAMME

Acceleration Program- Purchasing and Quality Management International Purchasing Office Southeast Asia

Program period: 18 months/ Program start date: 1st April 2026

Our 18-months program offers a range of opportunities, including global assignments, coaching and team projects. It's designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed for a successful career within the BMW Group, whether that be in a management position or a specialist role.

Your acceleration program will consist of four assignments in various departments within Purchasing and Quality Management International Purchasing Office Southeast Asia; two will be in Thailand whilst the other two will be abroad.

During your assignments, you will gain insight into business processes, strategy, culture and the BMW Group brands from both a local and global perspective. You will also establish an excellent international network and work on strategic and operational projects in three different countries.

After the program, the successful candidate will be placed in the Purchasing and Quality Management department where you will be part of strategic regional team.

 What Awaits You?

·        Be an active part of the Project management for agreed sourcing project in all the stages of the ITO phase.

·        Conduct deep extensive analysis of supply network for assigned commodities, guided by the enablers as defined in the job scope.

·        Prepare and coordinate supplier introduction to relevant commodity purchasing departments.

·        Guide and develop suppliers to comply with necessary administrative, quality, technical and logistical requirements as defined in BMW Group standards.

·        Additional tasks to be assigned by the line manager. 

What You Should Bring Along.                  

·        Having at least a Bachelor’s degree in a Technical Background (e.g., engineering, etc.)

·        1-3 years working experience in a related automotive field. Fresh graduates are also welcome.

·        Good working knowledge of English. 

·        Leadership skills

·        Computer literacy

·        Used to different cultures and the international environment.

·        Other additional languages would be an advantage (German, Japanese, Chinese)

·        Coding experience would be a plus.
