As a Foaming Process Specialist at BMW Group Plant Debrecen, you play a key role in the development of adhesive and gluing processes to support series production.

What awaits you?

• Work environment – you will work in the Energy Module, which consists of highly automated production lines equipped with robots, where numerous new technologies are implemented.
• Team – you will work in a highly motivated production team of approximately 15 colleagues in the series assembly of the 6th generation energy module.
• Foaming processes – you perform and monitor foaming processes to ensure precise, reliable, and high-quality insulation and structural components.
• Quality assurance – you take responsibility for the quality assurance in foaming technology and use of destructive and non-destructive testing technologies. You ensure proper preparation and material handling for strong and durable foam applications.
• Advanced foaming techniques and calculations – you use advanced process technology and adhesive processing techniques for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of adhesive applications. You also handle glue joint calculations and design considerations.
• Simulation of aging processes – you simulate the aging processes and evaluate the long-term performance of foam components.

What should you bring along?

• Educational background – you hold successfully completed Bachelor´s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering or any equivalent experience in a related field.
• Work experience – you have at least three years of professional experience in the field of production with a very good understanding of manufacturing technology, e.g. in electromobility and experience as a foaming specialist in production, ideally in an automated production area.
• Work schedule – you are willing to work on-site during regular business hours. Remote work may be considered based on alignment with your line manager.
• Language skills – English and Hungarian communication level language skills are needed. German language knowledge is an advantage
• Soft skills – You are motivated and have a creative drive as well as assertiveness and initiative. You also hold high level of analytical skills and knowledge of problem-solving methods.
