Our team at the BMW Group is responsible for the global delivery of new features on the Cloud Data Hub, the central datalake/lakehouse platform within Enterprise Data and Analytics. We enable data ingestion, governance, and analytics at scale, supporting innovative solutions across the company.

What awaits you?

You will support the team in developing and improving features for the Cloud Data Hub platform and its Data Portal.

Furthermore, you help to create prototypes, automation scripts, and small tools to enhance platform usability.

In addition, you will explore cloud technologies and data engineering concepts in a real-world environment.

Moreover, you contribute to collaboration with developers and stakeholders to understand requirements and support solution design.

You will gain hands-on experience with modern data platforms and learn about data governance and compliance.

What should you bring along?

• Studies in computer science, information technology, data engineering or a related field.
• Basic programming knowledge (e.g., Python or TypeScript) from coursework or projects.
• Interest in cloud technologies and data platforms (AWS experience is a plus, not a must).
• Curiosity, willingness to learn, and ability to support in a team.
• Good English skills; German is an advantage.
