• Process Improvement and applications of VPS methods (Value-added Production System) within the assigned area of responsibility according to BMW.
• Active and autonomous identification of process improvement potentials and initiation of necessary actions with the partners of the VPS core team.
• Providing transparency about the actual process and it` s needs for improvement
• Responsibility of the implementation of the lean production system in the technology and the other interfaces.
• Realization of value stream mapping and designs.
• Support on the launch procedures during all phases.                                                                                                                        
• Ensuring a harmonized and continuous improved process design.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 
• Evaluation of upcoming changes with the focus of practicability.                                                                                                                        
• Coordination, alignments and changes of the systems, services, equipment's, structures and processes.                                                                                                                        
• Ensures compliance to logistics processes, legal requirements, ergonomics, health and safety                                                                                                                        
• Support purchasing activities for equipment's and tools.
• Specify, plan, analyze and execute purchasing activities for equipment's and tools.                                                                                                                        
• Identify, troubleshooting, methodical root cause analysis and solving of problems                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          
• Economic steering - order- and confirmation of services, equipment and tools.                                                                                                                        
• Responsible of ensuring the execution of material planning processes - Basic Data Management and steering and managing the stock level per part number.
• Planning of single/multiple logistics processes.
