This shared enthusiasm for our projects is what forges our teams into strong, unified forces, where every perspective is valued. It's when expertise, highly professional processes, and genuine enjoyment of our work come together that we truly shape the future, collaboratively.

What awaits you?

Your mission is to manage the lab’s resources, perform complex chemical analyses, and translate the results into actionable insights that support product development and series production quality.

  • Oversee daily laboratory operations, ensuring the effective use of various instrumental analytical methods such as quantitative titration, Near-Infrared (NIR), Fourier-Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, and chemical sample preparation.
  • Interpret and evaluate analysis results, presenting findings clearly to interdisciplinary teams and process partners across development, series production, and suppliers.
  • Actively contribute to defining target values and quality control protocols for both development and series production phases.
  • Manage laboratory resources, including equipment maintenance, inventory control, and procurement of materials and consumables.
  • Train and mentor lab staff and interns on essential laboratory techniques, safety protocols, and best analytical practices.

What should you bring along?

We are seeking a chemist or materials scientist with a graduate degree, specialized expertise in PU foam chemistry, and proven analytical skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree, ideally with professional experience in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, or a related field specializing in PU foams.
  • In-depth knowledge of instrumental chemical analysis is essential.
  • Strong background in analytical chemistry, preferably with experience in titration and, ideally, expertise in Karl Fischer titration (water content analysis) and/or the analysis of isocyanates and polyols in PU foam.
  • Experience in applying and evaluating physical-chemical tests, along with adherence to safe laboratory practices in well-equipped facilities.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
  • Proven ability to lead functional teams, with excellent communication skills and the discipline to work independently and in a structured manner.
  • Business fluent in English.
