What awaits you?
Your mission is to oversee all lab activities, guarantee compliance, manage resources, and lead technical testing and analysis for materials and components.
- Oversee the daily operations of the testing laboratory, ensuring strict compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Manage all laboratory resources, including equipment maintenance, calibration schedules, and inventory control.
- Coordinate and conduct comprehensive destructive and non-destructive tests on materials and components, including tensile, impact, welding, ultrasonic, and X-ray analysis.
- Analyze test results and prepare detailed reports, providing critical technical insights and data-driven recommendations based on findings.
- Supervise lab personnel, ensuring effective teamwork, adherence to rigorous testing standards, and professional development.
- Maintain accurate records of all testing procedures, results, and laboratory activities, ensuring adherence to all company policies and industry regulations.
What should you bring along?
We are seeking a technical leader with substantial laboratory management experience and deep knowledge of material testing methods.
- Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
- +4 years of work experience in the automotive or other structured manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience in managing laboratory operations and leading complex testing projects.
- Strong background in destructive (DT) and non-destructive (NDT) test laboratories.
- Good knowledge of appropriate analysis and evaluation methods, including tensile, welding, and sample preparation techniques.
- Able to lead functional teams. Possesses strong communication skills and the ability to foster teamwork, while also maintaining the discipline to work independently and in a structured manner.
- English business fluent is required.
