Partner Training Manager
BMW Group Financial Services UK is looking for a Partner Training Manager (FTC to 31 Dec 2026.) This role is based at the Summit ONE Campus in Farnborough.
What awaits you?
- Research tailored Retailer/Partner product, sales, and industry training programmes across a range of delivery methods and platforms.
- Maintaining awareness of training activity across the NSC, as well as training industry innovations. Recommend, research and development of future training direction / initiatives to ensure market leading innovative training provision.
- Across all Financial Brands and functions, improve dealer/partner sales and internal associates performance and knowledge on all F&I topics including, penetration, retention and customer satisfaction in order to meet business targets & strategic vision.
- Ensure that the best and most appropriate training is provided specific to area (Group Brands, Motorrad, Ireland, Alphera, Alphabet, Finance, Insurance, etc).
- Deliver product, sales and industry training ensuring that training received is aligned to business goals, BMW Group brand values, CI and training standards as well as delegate needs.
- Provide expertise and consultancy to educate, coach and deliver ‘Train the Trainer’ sessions to Financial Regional Managers ensuring they have appropriate content knowledge to support and coach their Retailers & partners.
- Liaise and coordinate with National Sales Company (NSC), BMW Academy to ensure appropriate involvement and consistency with BMW Group UK training initiatives.
- Design and delivery of effective training using the latest innovative methods and via the optimum channel(s) in classroom and virtually to enhance Retailer and Partner performance across a wide area of competencies, increasing customer satisfaction so is attractive to the Retailer/Partner network.
- Maintaining a sound understanding of the demands, constraints and choices influencing Retailers and intermediaries and their staff regarding training offerings available to them.
- Ensure all training programmes deliver content on regulatory compliance towards all intermediaries and internal associates in sales related roles ensuring our customers are sold to compliantly.
What should you bring along?
- CPD certificate in Training or BMW Trainer Certificate desirable, but not essential.
- Experience in designing, delivering, and evaluating blended training across multiple channels/formats in a comparable industry.
- Experience using content creation software to develop digital training, or extensive experience working with/using software platforms for content generation.
- Developing and managing F&I product knowledge, profit and sales skills at all levels of a Retailer.
- Experience in a sales or field sales role within the Retailer / Intermediary network.
- Knowledge and interest in Finance and Insurance industry and products as well as the regulatory environment.
- Training content development for classroom delivery plus strong IT literacy and skills for virtual content creation.
