Software Engineer (Spring 2026)

      Description: ·         This position will support the development work for various projects that involve data visualization and analytics through tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Informatica and QlikThe qualified intern/Co-op should expect to contribute & improve in the following functions: ·         Assist business users in linking data from disparate sources·         Conduct research on the best way to provide visual solutions for a particular business problem·         Testing and maintenance of various applications·         Quality assurance of end-user developed visuals prior to production release·         Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability·         Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders·         Participating in end-user requirements gathering sessions·         Work on development tasks as outlined be lead developer·         Maintain task list with tools such as jira and confluence·         Communicate using Outlook, Teams and other communication tools

 

      Qualifications: 
  • Degree in Computer Science or similar
  • Ability to Analyze and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data into actionable visualizations
  • Experiene with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Tableau, Power BI, Qlik
  • Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)
  • Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
  • Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week).
  • Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
  • MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT
  • Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
  • THE WORK TERM DATES ARE January 12th – May 15th, 2025.
