





Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op / Paint Shop Technical Planning (Spring 2026)

Description:
You will be a part of the Technical Planning/Engineering team and work alongside the team members in different projects and areas during this rotation. Main objectives will be to support existing vehicle Production processes as well as new model industrialization. Other tasks may include, but not limited to: design, project management, digitalization, excel macro, process cycle time and adherence, etc.
The qualified intern should expect to contribute & improve in the following functions:
- Concept and Development of process layouts, equipment and tooling design, and process steps.
- Participate in Design reviews of new model tooling.
- Process evaluation for overall Production output – cycle time and availability.
- Project management and supplier management.
- Working in both new launch and existing vehicle projects.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering
- Self-driven to push projects and tasks forward.
- Good Communication skills andProblem Solving / Analytical skills.
- Organized and able to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Basic CAD knowledge (preferred Catia).
- Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)
- Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
- Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
- Ability to work full-time on site (40 hours / week).
- Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
- MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT
- Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
- WORK TERM DATES ARE January 12th - May 15th, 2026.
