





Supply Chain Operations Intern (Spring 2026)
Addressing the areas of uncertainty for material control – forecast errors, yield losses, issues in the timing of demand and the timing of supply (random lead times). Finding alternatives to the current solution which is to carry safety stock.
Development of concepts / IT solutions in support of essential daily tasks.
Creating and maintaining visualization tools, material planning dashboard, etc.
Optimize the processes for the availability of materials, components, and products for planned production and for customer delivery.
Define the lowest possible level of inventory.
Understanding the uncertainty of the MRP in the body shop area, finding improvements and increasing planning efficiencies.
Support with process mapping of the business and support documentation of standard processes.
Using resources to support overall planning activities.
Ability to lead team meetings and give presentations
III. Assignment Qualifications: List the preferred degrees/skills for this position.The ideal candidate will have completed (or is in the process of receiving) a degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or a related field with a GPA of 3.4 or above (preferred). Candidate must have strong interpersonal and technical skills (experience using Power BI, SQL, Data Lake, etc. is a bonus).Hard Skill Requirements:· Proficiency with Microsoft Office· SAP basics Soft Skill Requirements:· Independent & detail-oriented work· Organized· Effective communication and collaboration skills· Willingness to learn
