As Production Quality Specialist in the Body Shop at BMW Group Plant Debrecen, you play a key role in ensuring that components from the press shop come together to form a complete, high‐quality car body by the end of the production line and they are delivered to the paint shop in perfect condition.

What awaits you?

• Work environment - A highly automated production line with numerous robot cells, where the main processes involves joining car body components using welding and bonding technologies. The work environment is partly office-based, but predominantly located on the production line, allowing for direct interaction with the manufacturing processes.
• Team - You closely collaborate with the process, maintenance, logistics and industrial specialists, as well as other production quality specialists, the production area leader, team leaders, technicians, line workers in the body shop, particularly in the underbody manufacturing area, to optimize manufacturing processes and ensure product quality.
• Process optimisation - you take quality, availability and production costs into account when designing production processes
• Projects - you support continuous improvement projects from a quality perspective.
• Monitoring performance indicators - you keep track of relevant KPIs, report on performance and take action in case of deviations.
• Teamwork - you determine the necessary countermeasures (including ad-hoc actions) in collaboration with  your immediate team and other departments.

What should you bring along?

• Educational Background - engineering degree, with focus on mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, production, automotive engineering or equivalent.
• Work Experience - 2-3 years of experience in quality methods, process improvement and lean management positions in the industry, preferably in automotive production, planning or maintenance.
• Language skills: native-level Hungarian and strong English knowledge arw required. German would be an advantage.
• Work schedule – You are open to working flexible hours.
• Knowledge of quality management tools - You have a solid understanding of quality assurance tools and methodologies.
• Proactive personality - High degree of flexibility, strong motivation and sense of responsibility.
