As a Logistics process control specialist at BMW Group Plant Debrecen you're a crucial part of our vision to revolutionize the way we think about cars.

What awaits you?

  • Work environment - you will be working in a modern, digitalized, open office-style environment, together with other office employees and your direct teammates which is equipped with kitchenettes, coffee stations, and ergonomic workstations, and also includes a company cafeteria.

  • Team – as a member of our Logistics team you’ll be working in a multicultural environtment together with 15-20 people. In the team there are junior, medior and senior colleagues, as well, and they are splitted into smaller groups based on the focus points.
  • Inventory management - monitor, manage, and improve inventory levels and processes to ensure optimal stock availability and compliance with company standards, as well as minimize discrepancies.

  • Data analysis - generate reports and analyze stock data to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimize inventory turnover.

  • Process improvement - identify opportunities and lead initiatives for process improvements in inventory control and logistics operations to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

  • Collaboration - work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless inventory operations and reporting on performance metrics.

 

What should you bring along?

  • Educational background – bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration.

  • Work Experience – minimum 3 years of working experience with inventory control, stock analytics or logistics management.

  • Language skills – fluent in Hungarian and English.

  • Software knowledge – knowledge of SAP systems for inventory management and logistics processes. Data-driven mindset and strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g. MS Excel, ERP systems).

  • Precision & Teamwork - excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, affinity to work in a team utilizing assertive communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Work schedule - willingness to work in shifts if needed.
