As a Technology Steering Specialist-Body Shop, at BMW Group Plant Debrecen you're a crucial part of our vision to revolutionize the way we think about cars.

 

What awaits you?

  • Work environment – a highly automated production line equipped with robots, which our team sets up, operates, and maintains to ensure the required quality.
  • Team – You work independently during your shift, but you're part of a tightly connected team. You stay in touch with three colleagues – one from another shift and two from the office , and collaborate daily with six production shift leaders and 8–10 teammates from other departments.
  • Coordination –ensuring that serial production standards are met between the departments involved.
  • Serial production – operating the production support system in all areas and ensure the conditions are met. You are responsible for the production of special units as well as for series production.
  • Schedules – preparing and managing the shutdown schedule for the department concerned.
  • Warehousing - you will manage the release of all blocked units in the warehouse and plant. You will prepare production planning reports and document all historical KPIs.
  • Projects – being involved in project development.

 

What should you bring along?

  • Education– minimum secondary education in electronics or mechanical engineering, technical education an advantage.
  • Work experience – relevant production management or project development experience, especially in automation processes.
  • Work schedule – you follow a standard single-shift schedule and manage your tasks independently.
  • Hard skills – you have a user-level application of Lean Manufacturing methods, also a thorough knowledge of process mapping (flowcharts, VSD, VSM, etc.).
  • Soft skills – high level of leadership and interpersonal skills required to work effectively with your colleagues. You have strong problem-solving skills and experience of working from a methodological perspective.
  • Language skills– fluency in written and oral communication skills in English AND Hungarian; German would be an advantage.
