By utilizing powerful testing equipment and exercising our complete understanding of both the hardware and software in the total vehicle, we are able to play an integral part in the exciting process of delivering these cutting-edge vehicles to the consumers. The qualified intern/Co-op should expect to contribute & improve in the following functions:
- Familiarize yourself with the functionality of both the hardware and software of our vehicles.
- Support in the testing and debugging of prototype vehicles’ electrical components.
- Assist in electrical component test preparation, the testing procedure itself, data collection after testing, and the interpretation of results.
- Build upon your theoretical knowledge and apply creative solutions to real world problems.
- Freedom to create and develop software solutions to optimize processes.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a Bachelor or Graduate Degree in Engineering.
- Relevant interests would include learning new programming languages and data analytics software/programs.
- Passion to learn about electrical engineering concepts, vehicle architecture and communication.
- Willingness to learn on the job and acquire hands-on experience.
- Must commit to three co-op rotations as an enrolled student.
- Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).
- Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
- Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
- Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week).
- Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
- MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT.
- Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
