Co-op for Quality & Supply Chain Interior Seats (Summer 2025)

Description:
To learn the product quality management functions with the supplier quality management applications on the interior parts commodities.
The qualified intern/Co-op should expect to contribute & improve in the following functions:
- Assist the Quality Specialist on critical on-going projects or upcoming projects.
- Work on specific supplier issues with regards to process problem solving measures, using problem solving tools.
- Assist on supply chain topics with regards the sub-component stock tracking and crisis management on critical component shortages.
- Special scopes on specific supplier topics as defined by the Hiring manager and the assignment supervisor.
- OEE and value stream data collection system to be implemented at the suppliers.
- Steer the supplier quality development for specific supplier nominations.
- Problem solving methodology (8D) to solve recurrent quality topics with a specific supplier.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, or similar.
- MS Office, advanced excel, Power Point and Basic Knowledge of Project.
- Experience in managing or leading group of people.
- Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).
- Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
- Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
- Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week).
- Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
- MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT.
- Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
