We want to keep driving towards the future, so our team is currently seeking a Technology Steering Specialist in our Paint Shop.
What awaits you?
- Planning, coordinating, leading, and executing product measures and technical changes for implementation in launch production and series production.
- Ensuring a successful implementation of agreed-upon measures.
- Maintaining consistent target launch dates for change measures in a project.
- Ensuring and coordinating with all process partners to establish a coherent and plausible production program, while also maintaining a strong connection with the development team.
- Suppporting the technical coordination of project-related activities for prototype production or pilot production.
- Working in a balanced environment, spending your time on the shop floor as well as in the office.
- Supporting the central maintenance in case of conveyors defects.
What should you bring along?
- A technical qualification is required; a degree is not mandatory but is an advantage, especially in chemical, mechanical, electrical, or automotive engineering, as well as relevant experience in a Paint Shop.
- Minimum 2 years relevant working experience in similar position in the automotive industry.
- Ability to work independently, with good level of problem solving and communication skills.
- Pronounced quality awareness with a flair for dealing with people.
- Advanced English and Hungarian working proficiency is required, German would be an advantage.
- Willingness to take on occasional business trips in the BMW group network
