As a Shopfloor IT Specialist in the Energy Module area at BMW Group Plant Debrecen, you play a key role in ensuring that our production lines are running continuously.
What awaits you?
- Work environment - highly automated production lines equipped with robots, which our team keeps running from automation point of view.
- Team – you will be a member of a mid-sized team (15-20), multicultural team with junior, medior and senior experts in PLC, robot programming and shopfloor IT topics.
- Production support - you troubleshoot complex disruptions in production and IT systems. You optimise application software, databases and cloud-supported applications in the production.
- Digital solutions - you test solutions and future innovations, support commissioning and you are the first point of contact for production.
- IT responsibilities – you install, update and implement IT security mechanisms (e.g. patch management, virus signatures) and coordinate firmware updates to prevent IT attacks, data loss and misuse in the production environment.
- Data analysis – you turn raw data coming from production machines into a structured database and analyse these data etc.
What should you bring along?
- Educational Background - University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Software Engineering, or a related field, with several years of experience in IT support, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Work Experience - several years of experience in IT support, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Language Skills - native-level Hungarian and fluent English are required. German language skills would be an advantage.
- Work Schedule – flexible time schedule.
- Knowledge of PLC Programming – having knowledge and expierience in PLC programming (Siemens) would be preferred.
- Working with Data Bases - You have experience working with databases, gateways and cloud technologies.
- Knowledge of Programming Languages - C#, SQL, Python, Java, JavaScript would be a plus.
