As Production Process Specialist in the Assembly at BMW Group Plant Debrecen, you play a key role in ensuring that every component is installed correctly and to the highest quality in the car body arriving from the Paint Shop — ensuring that a complete vehicle leaves the assembly line.
What awaits you?
- Work environment – it is a location for mostly manual assembly processes, where hundreds of our colleagues work during each shift to ensure that every single component is installed correctly. The work environment is partly office-based, but predominantly located on the production line, allowing for direct interaction with the manufacturing processes.
- Team – You closely collaborate with the quality, maintenance, logistics and industrial specialists, as well as the production area leader, team leaders, technicians, line workers in the assembly plant to optimize manufacturing processes and ensure product quality.
- Lean approach - you will be involved in developing best practices.
- Process analysis - you will identify opportunities for process improvement (cost, assembly time, quality, ergonomics, poka-yoke, etc.).
- Manufacturing support - you will support design and manufacturing in the introduction of changes to the product.
- Monitoring - you will track KPIs for the area (planned assembly time, headcount, budget, assembly time per unit, etc.).
- Trouble shooting - you initiate corrective actions in case of quality deviations.
What should you bring along?
- Educational Background - Bachelor's degree in industrial, mechanical, electrical, mechatronics or related engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- Work Experience - at least 2 years of work experience in an engineering/technical position in a manufacturing environment.
- Work schedule – You are open to working flexible hours.
- Language skills: native-level Hungarian and working proficiency in English is required. German would be an advantage.
- Process engineering skills - you are confident in designing and managing processes. You know the principles of quality assurance. You are able to make decisions based on production data.
- Lean approach - you are proficient in applying lean principles and tools.
