Corporate Sales Manager (Alphabet GB) - Northern Based

BMW Group Financial Services UK is looking for a Corporate Sales Manager (Alphabet GB). This role is Northern field based, reporting into Summit One Farnborough. 

 

What awaits you?

  • Prospecting and securing of new customers for Alphabet (AL-UK).
  • Prospecting and securing profitable mobility products and services for these new customers that AL-UK offers at any given time.
  • Achieve all targets and objectives set - both quantitative and qualitative. These will be aligned to AL-UK and BMW group strategy and objectives and encompass a wide range of products and services, both financial and operational.
  • Development of a clear strategy and sustainable business plan to subsequently deliver on all business targets and objectives. This includes gaining an in depth knowledge of the territory & the target customer to ensure a compelling, tailored and specific solution is delivered in every case. A robust and qualified pipeline must be managed and developed to ensure targets are achieved. Ability to self-motivate and work remotely with minimal daily management.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of the AL-UK products, services, and processes to ensure a shortened sales cycle and maximum product and service penetration into the customer is achieved. Also required is a good knowledge of the market and AL-UK’s key competitors to ensure differentiation, innovation and value are delivered in the AL-UK solution to the customer.
  • Responsible for all relationship management within the sales process with relevant stakeholders both within AL-UK and the customer. Responsible for building senior level relationships internally and externally to support and leverage opportunities. Responsible for heading and overseeing the business relationship until the customer is handed over to account management. This includes ensuring implementation, mobilisation, and the account management process are all complete and documented to ensure the long term success of the contract relationship.  Balance ongoing demands of prospecting, implementation, and account management.

 

What should you bring along?

  • A proven track record, demonstrable, in selling to larger fleets.
  • Experience in dealing at all levels in high profile, multi–national companies.
  • Experience of solution based sales, often taking in excess of 12 months.
  • A proven track record in selling a blend of funding and ancillary products.
  • Consistent track record in generating profit through new business development.
  • Self-motivated and self-managing with a proactive nature.
  • Significant leasing sector experience required.
  • Ability to think strategically.
  • Excellent communication (questioning, listening and interpretation) skills.
  • Persuasion and negotiating skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Strong Microsoft applications skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with managing a CRM, forecasting and target management, good mathematics & English skills.

 

Location & Travel

  • The role requires extensive travel. Must be located on the territory and able to travel frequently to meetings throughout the UK if required including overnight.
