Paint Shop Digitalization Co-op (Spring 2025)

Description
Candidate will acquire knowledge of BMW paint shop production processes and daily operations in terms of quality management. The Digitalization Co-op will support Paint Shop Microsoft Power platforms, APEX and other programs for development and optimization needs. They will be a key member in the digitalization team and growth of the paint shop systems.
The qualified intern should be expected to:
- Develop, enhance and roll-out quality reporting systems.
- Properly document systems steps for handoff.
- Review Production data and develop systems to support data analysis.
- Learn APEX from Paint IT team and structured training.
Qualifications
- Pursing a degree in Computer Science, ME, EE, or other technical degree
- Experience with or ability to learn the following: SQL and VBA knowledge, Oracle and database experience, Application Development/Design, Microsoft Office Programs, Self-motivated and communication skills.
- Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).
- Have enrolled status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
- Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
- Ability to complete 3 work terms for co-op positions.
- Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week).
- Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
- MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT.
- Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
