We have several placements within Marketing and Strategy including, Digital Marketing, Brand Communications and Social Media, and Strategy.
We are looking for confident and eager to learn individuals to join our MINI Marketing and Strategy teams, responsible for all digital marketing, national advertising, social media, CRM (customer acquisition and loyalty), and market strategy development. Working with a multi-million-pound budget, all marketing activity is focused on supporting the delivery of annual sales targets through the generation of enquiries. The team works with large marketing agency teams to deliver the annual marketing plan via several campaigns and model launches. This is a dynamic, busy, yet fun team with a work hard, play hard attitude.
Whilst MINI is part of the BMW Group, it has a very separate brand identity, with the smaller MINI marketing and strategy teams working autonomously from BMW. Everything from our dress code to office environment is reflective of the MINI brand. In addition, our team structure allows you to take full responsibility for projects in addition to supporting the wider team, operating as a key and valued member of the team from day one.
What awaits you?
- Collaborate with the MINI Brand Communications and Events teams to ensure effectiveness across marketing campaigns and at all major events.
- Support in development and tracking of key timelines, including MINI UK’s market strategy and new model launch planning.
- Coordinating and publishing weekly bulletins and key performance dashboards to internal stakeholders, as well as monthly competitor analysis and creative story telling sessions.
- Administration and steering of key focus topic working groups, including Electric and MINI App.
- Support with developing the MINI team engagement strategy, including helping to organise team days and social activities.
- Support the organisation and administration of key MINI meetings and presentation input between stakeholders from all levels of the organisation, including senior leadership.
- Managing the finance process for the overall budget. This will include the raising of purchase orders and completing our end of month routines.
- Get involved in projects outside of the job role, allowing you to have input into wider parts of MINI and the BMW Group.
Qualifications and Experience
- Studying towards a bachelor's degree and on track to achieve at least a 2:2 - a degree in Business Studies, Marketing would be advantageous but not essential.
- Strong relationship building skills and excellent inter-personal abilities, alongside exceptional written and verbal communication.
- Excellent IT skills alongside a willingness to understand and use new systems and technology.
- A well-rounded individual with a good mix of numerical and creative skills.
- Self-motivated, well organised, and able to manage your time and complete tasks before deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, coupled with the ability to provide considered feedback to agencies and colleagues.
- A team player with a helpful, can-do attitude.
- A genuine passion for MINI and Marketing is essential.
- The ability to clearly understand the MINI brand tone of voice and creative style to provide relevant feedback and input on projects.
- A UK driving license is advantageous but not essential.
