BMW Group Financial Services, Farnborough – IT Internship (July 2025)
As an IT Intern at BMW Group Financial Services, you will have the opportunity to contribute to innovation, change and operations across various IT activities providing services to the business including having responsibility for specific research, planning and implementation tasks under the guidance of senior team members. The focus on this Internship is on, project management, analyst, test and operational activities. It is not for candidates seeking to undertake programming.
What awaits you?
- Supporting project portfolio with the implementation of projects from beginning to end while ensuring it meets the customer’s need.
- Working in teams analysing, developing, testing and implementing IT solutions to satisfy the current and future needs of the business.
- Undertaking support and maintenance activities for business applications such as documentation, compliance, operational improvement, and problem solving.
- Getting involved in wider BMW Group IT initiatives driven from headquarters.
- You will have the opportunity to participate in training sessions allowing you to develop new skills and knowledge with the opportunity to engage with the wider internship network and gain exposure to the overall company through exciting initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience
- You must demonstrate and be on track to attain a 2:1 or 1st class degree in Business, Technology, Geography or a STEM related subject - we are not necessarily looking for a technologist!
- You must have excellent communication skills with the ability to build customer rapport quickly, to enable you to offer exceptional customer service.
- You must be able to take ownership of problems and issues to proactively meet a resolution.
- You must be a team player who is organised and able to work towards deadlines.
- Knowledge and interest of the Financial Services and Automotive industry would be advantageous.

What do you need to do now?
