Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Goodwood - Vehicle Assembly (Test and Finish) - 13 Month Placement (July 2025)
Our production team Test & Finish the completed vehicles before handing them over to our distribution network. This production process spans setting up the vehicles to be road worthy before they are subjected to rigorous static and dynamic quality validation activities. We must deliver perfect quality vehicles on time while keeping within our budget. Our production team is seeking one placement student to join from July 2025.
What awaits you?
- Support, coordination and management of daily operational activities in a production environment.
- Process flow mapping, reporting on performance and implementing improvements.
- Lead enabler projects to improve our quality, delivery and efficiency.
- Participate in daily problem-solving activities, defining root cause, experiments, and implementing solutions.
- Spend time in other technologies to broaden your understanding of the business.
Qualifications and Experience
- Studying towards a Bachelor’s or integrated Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field and on track to achieve a 2:2 or above.
- Strong IT skills, including a strong operational understanding of Microsoft Office programmes including Word, Excel and PowerPoint is essential as is a working knowledge of other relevant databases.
- An interest in how data science can be applied to manufacturing would be advantageous.
- An inquisitive nature and attention to detail are required.
