IT Infrastructure, System and Application Specialist

We want to keep driving towards the future, so our team is currently seeking an IT system and application specialist at BMW Group Plant Debrecen.
As an IT Architecture and Application Specialist you’re responsible for the correct and smooth operation, and configuration of all related applications and infrastructure, such as, Plant Server, Production Clients (Teststands in the Production area) and Wireless Interfaces (Client – Vehicle Communication).
What awaits you?
- Improving and modifying the E/E (Electric / Electronics) testing and commissioning applications.
- Managing daily questions and challenges referring to the systems and applications you’re responsible for.
- Monitoring with selfservice dashboard that all requirements on applications are resolved and ensure that sustainable solutions are integrated.
- Keeping the configuration of the systems up to date.
- Being responsible for the availability and capability of E/E test stands in the production process.
- Being the first point of contact for assembly partners as well as partners in global BMW Plant E/E network.
What should you bring along?
- Master or Bachelor degree related to computer science, IT or electrical engineering.
- Preferably you have 3+ years of experience in IT system development.
- Highly motivated fresh-graduates are also welcome with knowledge of programming JAVA, C++, XML, and Python, relation of databases (SQL), Network Administration.
- Experience with Computer Hardware, Operation Systems, Windows Clients and Cloud Technology.
- You have confident knowledge of infrastructure components (Oracle, MQS, WiFi, Ethernet), Big Data Analysis/ Reporting and Debugging Tools.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Open mindset and willingness to learn and adapt to new virtual processes.
- High level of proven fluent English skills in speaking and writing. Hungarian and German language knowledge would be an advantage.
