In the new BMW Group Mobility Center in Sokolov, Czech Republic we will continue to develop & test groundbreaking innovations in the field of electrification, digitalisation and automated driving.

For our team in Sokolov we are currently seeking you as an 

You will be responsible for planning and coordinating the test operations at the new BMW Group Mobility Center in Sokolov, Czech Republic. To ensure that all vehicle testing activities at the site run with the greatest efficiency and security your tasks will include: 

• Steering all interface departments of the BMW Group such as test engineers as well as external and internal service providers
• Organizing and coordinating tests based on the vehicles and tracks 
• Ensuring that the test center is compliant with all relevant safety and environmental laws, regulations and measures
• Ensuring the usability of the test facilities as well as defining the requirements of maintenance and further development of the test areas and safety standards
• Identifying synergies with and between the vehicle projects and product lines for the scheduled ongoing tests at the site
• Taking all necessary measures to avoid accidents and minimize consequences, including the organization of the necessary training
• Critically reviewing and validating risks assessments and approving planned car tests and their safety precautions 
• Ensuring data protection and confidentiality of prototypes

Qualification and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, vehicle construction, electrical engineering, industrial engineering or occupational safety
• Education/Certificate as a safety specialist is mandatory
• At least 5 years work experience in automotive industry with testing experience
• Experience in infrastructure projects (test modules) and / or vehicle projects (development, validation, testing)
• Fluency in Czech & English required. German is an advantage.
