WHAT AWAITS YOU.

 

  • Protect people, property, and information across physical security, incident, and crisis management.
  • Drive implementation of core security strategies and business continuity policies to support BMW Group needs.
  • Act as liaison with stakeholders, partners, and public safety agencies to proactively identify risks and support security measures, investigations, and incident responses at BMW facilities in the Americas (US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina).
  • Ensure incident and crisis management is implemented effectively in the region per BMW Group requirements.
  • Support Incident and Crisis Management - Center of Competence (CoC) by raising awareness, providing advisory services, and delivering trainings on the corporate security incident management process (including Corsica platform usage).
  • Reinforce crisis management capabilities: training and readiness of crisis management personnel in the region per group standards.
  • Collect and consolidate information and KPIs on crisis scenarios, crisis management activations, and regional status.
  • Submit reports in line with group standards and CoC requirements for incident/crisis management.
  • Led and planned tabletop exercises
  • Conduct risk management assessments to ensure compliance with company policies and local, state, and federal security guidelines.

 

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING. 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 – 7 years of related incident and crisis management professional experience gained from a qualified organization, including, but not limited to, a corporate, military, government, law enforcement and/or public safety entity. Experience will include liaison experience with external partners (service providers, public safety agencies and peers).

  • Master’s degree and 3 – 5 years of related incident and crisis management professional experience gained from a qualified organization, including, but not limited to, a corporate, military, government, law enforcement and/or public safety entity. Experience will include liaison experience with external partners (service providers, public safety agencies and peers).
  • Ability to effectively work both independently and collaboratively as a member of a team.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Basic understanding of security technology, i.e. CCTV and access control systems.
  • Experience in working with open-source data, databases, and analysis tool.
  • Professional Certifications (such as ASIS CPI, PSP or CPP, CFE), preferred.
  • Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese language(s), preferred.

Relocation is available for this position.  

 

This is a hybrid role that requires regular attendance in the office. 

 

The expected salary range for this position is $62,500.00 - $125,000.00. 

 

The selected candidate’s education, skills, experience, and location will be used to determine the final salary offer. All pay ranges are based on a full-time work schedule. This statement is in accordance with state and local pay disclosure requirements.
