Our Summit ONE in Farnborough is home to the National Sales Company for the BMW Group in the UK, as well as BMW Group Financial Services which offers retailers, corporate and private customers a range of customised financial services. Alphabet (GB) Ltd. as a leading provider of Business Mobility Services is also located in Farnborough.  We decided in November 2020 to bring together BMW Financial Services and Alphabet to stay relevant to our customers and continue to succeed in a rapidly changing business environment.

BMW UK, Farnborough - Used Cars Intern - 13 Month Placement (July 2026)

To support the team in developing and implementing BMW and MINI Used Car strategic projects. These projects will increase profitability and volume opportunities for Retailers and support the Used Car Team in developing and implementing the BMW Group Used Car Strategy.

What awaits you?

• Support the analysis, development and implementation of the BMW Group Used Car strategy to ensure it is sustainable, profitable and engaging to Retailers and Customers.
• Assist with organisation, prioritisation and management of BMW Group Used Car key projects to increase opportunities for Retailer Growth.
• Research industry and competitor trends along with analysing internal programmes and data to provide Used Car Team with insights and considerations for future initiatives.
• Support Used Car Development Manager with raising and reconciling operational budgets to fund projects and suppliers.
• Support with evaluating and developing Used Car programmes such as Audits, Mystery Shops, AUC standards and many more exciting projects to come.
• An opportunity to work with other departments across the BMW Group business and understand the full scope of a global vehicle manufacturer.

Qualifications and Experience

• Currently Studying an undergraduate degree with predicted grade of 2:1 and above
• Analytical mind
• Great communicator, both verbally and written communication
• Good numerical skills
• Keen eye for detail
• Quick learner who is eager to get stuck into all tasks
• Proficient in using Microsoft programmes such as Excel, Powerpoint and Word

What do you need to do now?

• Returning to studies for at least 6 months after the placement.
