As a Control Engineer at BMW Group Plant Debrecen you're a crucial part of our vision to revolutionize the way we think about cars.
What awaits you?
- Work Environment – a highly automated production lines equipped with robots, which our team keeps running from control planning point of view.
- Team – you will be a member of a mid-sized team (15-20), multicultural team with junior, medior and senior experts in PLC, robot programming and shopfloor IT topics.
- Projects and standars – designing and implement initiatives aimed at standardizing automation technologies across our production lines. You take full responsibility for the introduction, adaptation, and implementation of control engineering standards.
- Processes – you conceptually design automation processes for our plants, transform them into software solutions, and define the related software architectures.
- Development – leading the further development of software solutions at our suppliers, working in close cooperation with them.
- Virtual Commissioning – ensuring the availability and successful rollout of control software in our plants through virtual commissioning.
- Collaboration – working with cross-functional teams focused on standards and digitalization topics across plants and technologies.
What should you bring along?
- Education – degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, control engineering, or a related technical field.
- Work experience – Solid knowledge in robotics, drives, control, and automation technology; programming knowledge of Siemens PLC. Proven project management experience with the ability to manage and lead projects effectively.
- Work schedule – you follow a standard single-shift schedule and manage your tasks independently.
- Hard skills – proficiency in SIMATIC S7/TIA systems, visualization software, and bus systems. Experience in developing and implementing automation solutions.
- Soft skills – strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Language skills – strong command of English in written and spoken form; German is an advantage.
