As a High-voltage Battery Specialist at BMW Group Plant Debrecen you're a crucial part of our vision to revolutionize the way we think about cars. 

 

What awaits you?

  • Planning and purchasing of equipments as well as implementation of the analytical measurement instruments according to health, safety, quality and environment standards.
  • Planning, implementation and evaluation of complex investigations and problem solving of materials (e. g. in the field of HV battery systems and their components) and components (both metal and non-metal) as well as event-oriented, process-related problems.
  • Failure analysis of  E/E components (e.g. cables, sensors and ECU) from series production.
  • Recording of relevant electrical and mechanical parameters of the HV battery systems and electrical and electronic components.
  • Support in performing X-ray analysis, CT analysis, microscopy (optical and SEM) and sample preparation.
  • Implementation and documentation of analytical investigations, interpretation of results and appropriate recommendations documented in comprehensive technical reports.
  • Give technical and non-technical presentations to management, internal teams and suppliers.
  • Writing quality and safety relevant documents such as work and operating instructions.

 

What should you bring along?

  • Degree (e.g. bachelor´s) in the field of electrical engineering, vehicle engineering, mechanical engineering or mechatronics engineer. Alternatively completed technician qualification on similar field.
  • Experience working with workshop tools (e.g. saws, drills, grinders, cutting tools, etc.). 
  • Work experience in a laboratory environment is desirable.
  • Proficient use of MS Office.
  • Very good knowledge of spoken and written English.
  • Analytical mindset.
  • Good problem solving skills. 
  • Team spirit and joy to work together with people.
