As a Manufacturing Process Engineer in the Energy Module Technology at BMW Group Plant Debrecen, you play a key role in ensuring that the energy module components meet perfect quality standards through meticulous preparation, processing, and component quality assurance.
What awaits you?
- Work environment - you work in a highly motivated production team in the series production of the Gen6 energy module in Debrecen, Hungary.
- Team - you closely collaborate with the quality, maintenance, logistics and industrial specialists, as well as the production area leader, team leaders, technicians, line workers to optimize manufacturing processes and ensure product quality.
- Process analysis - you autonomously identify opportunities for process improvement (cost, assembly time, quality, ergonomics, poka-yoke, etc.) and initiate necessary actions.
- Continuous Improvement - you coordinate and support CI projects with the focus on quality and equipment availability including the development of new methods.
- Lean approach – you develop best practices in the Energy Module Production system.
- Monitoring – Self-responsible tracking of relevant Key Performance Indicators. Initiating suitable containment and corrective actions in case to get back on target level.
What should you bring along?
- Educational Background - Engineering degree, with focus on mechanical, electrical or automotive engineering, engineering management, production, or equivalent.
- Work Experience - At least three years of professional experience in the field of mass production with a very good understanding of manufacturing technology, e.g. in electromobility (automotive industry experience is advantage).
- Language skills: English knowledge in both written and verbal, German would be an advantage.
- Lean approach - you are proficient in applying lean principles and tools. Additionally, you are familiar with structured problem solving methodologies.
- Team work – strong teamwork and communication skills, with a flair for dealing with people and mediating in conflict situations.
