MINI Plant Oxford - Quality Management – 13 Month Placement (July 2026)

 

What awaits you? 

 

You will be part of a diverse and collaborative team of specialists who hold responsibility for series production quality strategy, audit liaison, critical concerns containment, problem management landscapes and risk evaluation.  

  • Engage with new quality approaches and methodologies to tackle systemic problem landscapes in a mature manufacturing environment.
  • Support design of experiments for damage reproduction within the process.
  • Opportunity to engage with voice of customer internal processes including vehicle audit results and feeding back the findings into the problem management process.
  • Engage with and develop clean data analytic solutions to enhance quality transparency and steer priorities within Production.
  • Support the Quality specialist teams with analysis for resolution of real vehicle topics
  • Understanding of production IT technical systems required to ensure a stable high OEE production.
  • Support the technology conformity to ISO9001 standards and ensure an effective Quality Management System in maintained.
  • Opportunity to experience strategic steering of the overall business through KPI and Metric management, engaging with senior management stakeholders.
  • Contribute to a wide ranging media strategy to engage the associates in Quality Mindset and awareness (multimedia, video, face-2-face)
  • Lead an innovation project within your placement that supports the progression and enablement of improved Quality including all responsibilities for results, communication and time management.

 

 

What should you bring along? 

  • Currently pursuing a relevant degree with an expected grade of 2:1 or higher (e.g. engineering, business, ICT/Computer Science or similar fields).
  • Strong analytical skills, a quick learner, and an innovative thinker.
  • A keen aptitude for risk-based thinking and process observation.
  • Proficiency in standard Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI and App development is beneficial.
  • Ability to translate academic knowledge into practical, real-world applications.
  • Proficiency in English is required; basic knowledge of German is beneficial.
  • Highly self-driven and motivated to work well within a diverse team structure and network.
