Position: Corporate Communications - 13 Month Placement (July 2026)

Location: BMW National Sales Company, Farnborough 

Start Date: 1st July 2026

 

What awaits you?

  • Support the Government Affairs team in daily administration, policy work, and event organization.
  • Assist in liaising with government and external bodies, as well as internal departments.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of events, including visits to UK plants and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Help build and maintain relationships with UK government officials and external organizations.
  • Support internal and external communications to promote BMW priorities and initiatives.

 

What should you bring along?

  • Currently studying or having completed a Bachelor’s degree, with a passion for Politics and communications at 2.2 level or above.
  • Relevant work experience or enthusiasm for government, politics, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Ability to support event planning, stakeholder liaison, and administrative tasks effectively.
