BMW National Sales Company, Farnborough - Finance - 13 Month Placement 

Start Date – 15th June 2026

The Finance department at BMW UK are responsible for all Accounting and Controlling activities for the UK and Irish National Sales Companies of the BMW Group. With a diverse team of around 25 people, we work with all areas of the business to profitably steer the company, and achieve our financial objectives. We are responsible for all operational aspects ensuring the efficient day-to-day running of the finance processes, and accurate financial reporting, both internally and externally. We are constantly looking to increase our efficiency and smarter ways of working.

What awaits you?

  • Support month-end and year-end processes to ensure timely and accurate recording of financial entries.
  • Validate daily data interfaces into SAP and source systems to maintain data accuracy.
  • Assist in identifying, supporting, and leading finance projects focused on process improvement and simplification.
  • Prepare control account reconciliations, tracking reports, and management updates.
  • Provide information to auditors and assist in preparing monthly management reports.
  • Act as the key SAP contact, supporting system requests, user setup, and onboarding for interns and team members.

What should you bring along?

  • Currently studying for a degree in a relevant numerical discipline such as Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or Mathematics.
  • Interest in pursuing a post-graduation qualification like ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • Strong academic results, aiming for a 2:1 degree or higher.
  • Good analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proactive attitude and interest in process improvement and financial systems support.
