Rolls Royce Motor Cars, Goodwood – Liaison Engineering Intern – 13-month placement (July 2026)
The Liaison Engineering team are the interface between Series Engineering in Munich and Plant Goodwood.
What awaits you?
- Develop and lead trials for engineering solutions, evaluating results and providing constructive feedback to the Munich engineering teams.
- Learn and apply structured problem-solving techniques to address complex problems, including data collection, analysis, visualization, and communication of data-driven conclusions to support decision making.
- Collaborate closely with the Rolls-Royce assembly line, all internal technologies, and external suppliers in cross-functional problem-solving teams to drive improvements.
- Balance interests in both manufacturing and development engineering, demonstrating strong logic and deduction skills.
- Leverage CAD experience (Catia V5 advantageous) to support engineering tasks and solutions.
- Foster continuous improvement through data-driven insights and effective dissemination of findings to stakeholders.
What should you bring along?
- Studying towards an Undergraduate degree in Automotive/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or suitable equivalent and on track to achieve a 2.1 standard or higher
- Self-motivation and a willing to learn is essential
- Candidates should be able to demonstrate good organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Broad manufacturing/engineering knowledge – for either automotive or high-end products
- Experience in a New Product Development environment would be advantageous
