Internship - Exterior Surface Centre, Paint – 13 Month Placement (July 2026)

Entity, Location – Rolls Royce Motor Cars, Goodwood.

It takes incredible crafts to deliver Rolls-Royce quality, getting the paint finish perfect is vital for every Rolls-Royce. This is why the work of our Exterior Surface Centre couldn't be more important. In your time in the team, you'll learn all about it, working in an area that cover’s every aspect of Surface Finishing a Rolls-Royce motor car. This includes automated paint application with precision robots and meticulous surface inspection, preparation and masking by highly skilled associates, detailing the products beyond the expectations and standards of our customers.

What awaits you?

• Support, coordination and management of specific daily tasks and longer term projects
• Support and coordination of problem solving activities to improve processes and products, seeking innovative ways to solve real problems
• Steering of system improvements to support the production processes
• Analysis of data to understand areas of focus and steering of KPI’s
• Review of production critical systems and processes to identify potential improvements
• Coordination of cross functional projects, pulling in the skills and experience of others

What should you bring along?

• Studying towards minimum of a 2:2 Bachelor degree - preferably in Engineering, IT or other relevant field
• Strong relationship building skills and ability to show good inter-personal skills, showing exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Good organisational and time management skills, and ability to show high attention to detail to every task
• Ability to adapt working approach depending on specific requirements, prioritise activities, work under pressure, multi-task and solve problems
• An excellent team player who possesses solid interpersonal and organisational skills
• Highly Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal management input
• Experienced user of Microsoft Office and Outlook, knowledge of SAP is advantageous

What do you need to do now?
