The Lead Financial Analyst, Customer Support and Direct Cost is responsible for the independent coordination of controlling for Customer Support as well as controlling of the direct costs of Segment Automotive. In addition, this role will provide functional leadership to the customer support senior financial analyst.
WHAT AWAITS YOU.
- Lead management alignments as well as potential escalations with business departments.
- Lead the planning processes together with all relevant interfaces and ensuring compliance with the central reporting requirements.
- Steer the contribution margin within the regular BMW group planning processes (LRP/Budget/Forecast).
- Prepare and support BMW group planning submissions (Actuals / Forecasts / Budgets / ad-hoc requests) in adherence with BMW Group reporting guidelines for direct costs.
- Perform monthly Actual to Commitment, Budget (target) and Forecast variance analyses and identification of drives for deviations.
- Participate and provide technical support within the central targeting process with headquarter controlling and local management.
- Provide technical and financial consulting of the business in the early stadium of new business ideas, proposals, and tenders.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or Economics.
- 7+ years of experience in Finance, Controlling, Accounting or Strategic Planning.
- Knowledge of aftersales and logistics processes.
- Experience in functional or disciplinary leadership.
- Automotive experience preferred.
- Knowledge of BMW Group planning preferred.

This is a hybrid role that requires regular attendance in the office.
The expected salary range for this position is $89,700.00 - $165,900.00.
The selected candidate’s education, skills, experience, and location will be used to determine the final salary offer. All pay ranges are based on a full-time work schedule. This statement is in accordance with state and local pay disclosure requirements.
