Quality and Process Auditing Analyst

Description:

  • Provides technical problem solving / quality expertise to production teams.
  • Drives Quality Improvement activties for all Plant Spartanburg manufacturing issues.
  • Leads cross-functional quality improvement/issue resolution teams.
  • Determines key process characteristics and implements control mechanisms.
  • Coordinates and leads the department assessments and audit programs ensuring compliance with ISO certification requirements.
  • Evaluates proposed solutions for effectiveness and validates solutions for sustainability.
  • Promotes the principles and values of Plant Spartanburg in daily activities and future planning.
  • Leads and contributes to projects.
  • Understands and models VPS (Value Added Production System) Principles and concepts of Standard Work and Problem Solving.
  • Adheres to 5S and Safety Standards and Principles.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.

 

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree (Engineering discipline preferred) or the equivalent of 4 years of related experience in an engineering, technical or manufacturing role.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in a manufacturing environment to include problem solving using root cause analysis and quality methods to solve complex process problems.
  • 1+ years of manufacturing experience to include experience with parts and planning (Quality area or Logistics preferred).
  • 1+ years of project management experience.
  • 1+ years experience in process auditing to ISO standards (preferred).
  • Certified Quality Engineer or Six Sigma Black Belt (preferred).
  • 3+ years of communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) as proven through business application.
  • 3+ years of organizational skills as proven through business application.
  • 3+ years of Microsoft Office skills.
  • 3+ years of problem solving skills.
  • 3+ years of knowledge of Body, Assembly or Logistics processes (preferred).
  • Basic German language skills (preferred).
