This apprenticeship opportunity follows an occupational direct learning approach that’s designed to ensure you gain the necessary knowledge and technical skills required to competently produce our products. Apprenticeships are run by the BMW Technical Training Department at accredited service providers. As well as giving you the chance to develop your skills and gain BMW-specific experience, you also have the opportunity to obtain a formal artisan qualification after completion of the Apprenticeship programme.

Who can apply?

The programme is open to applicants who have Grade 12 (St 10) with both Mathematics and Science results of 50% or higher.

How to apply?

We accept online applications for the Apprenticeship programme during October each year. For successful applicants, the programme begins in March.

If you’re an unemployed student who would like to develop a career with us in Assembly or Logistics then we can offer you a great stepping-stone.

Our unit-based 18-month Skills Programme is designed to teach you the essential knowledge and skills you need to work according to the processes and standards on a modern production line. Encompassing a selection of specially synchronised Unit Standards, this hands-on programme will qualify you to explore exciting new career opportunities at our Plant Rosslyn production site.
